A little about me

Hey! I’m Darshan.

While my mind still wanders through the paddy fields and lush greenery of my hometown, Thrissur, Kerala, my body has been stuck in the Agara-Bellandur traffic in Bengaluru for the last two years.

I am a Chartered Accountant by profession. I live in the world of numbers, but somehow still find myself using a calculator to add one and two. I work at a Big 4 consulting firm here in Bengaluru.

When I’m not on Excel, you can find me sitting on the couch, doomscrolling Instagram or listening to some good old A R Rahman or Ilaiyaraja melodies. Or even catching up with a small circle (triangle, actually) of friends, sipping chai at a local tea shop.

Vacations are for travel – exploring landscapes, food and culture.

I turn a year short of thirty this autumn. However, I’m still asking potential matches what their favourite colour or favourite food is..

Well, I had put all of these into ChatGPT and asked it to edit for me. The AI rated it a 3/5, stating that it looks like someone trying to write rather than someone actually writing.

It gave me a much more polished version.

But then, I took a pause and thought for a while…

Isn’t that the whole premise of this blog? Me actually trying to write what’s on my mind…

Ok. Let me not bore you with all this self-deprecating humour. Instead, let me take you through my absurd takes on life, love, work and everything else.
